Geisler & Gabriele, LLP was one of the sponsors of the Jewish National Fund Strawberry Fields ("Beatlemania") Concert to raise money for the building of an Indoor Recreation Center in Sederot, Israel. The area has endured continual rocket attacks over the past eight years and with the completion of this facility, residents will have a place to enjoy life without having to worry about the imminent danger they face on a daily basis. The all inclusive center will provide the areas' youth and families with a secure place to have fun and socialize.

On September 8, Jeffrey P. De Georges, Esq., partner and trial attorney in the firm of Geisler & Gabriele, LLP, presented a risk management lecture to the Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association. The lecture, entitled "Record Keeping for Risk and Suit Avoidance," covered a range of topics concerning effectice record keeping in surgical and office practice. Mr. De Georges has been asked to make presentations to the Nassau County and New York State Podiatric Associations.

According to firm spokesperson Jon-Paul Gabriele, "We read an article which appeared in the Garden City Life about a local charity, Comp4Kids, which refurbishes unwanted computers for underprivileged children. When we made the move to upgrade our technology, we were glad we could help out other families."

Recently, partners John J. Abbate and John C. Henninger were invited to teach at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Course given at the Hofstra University School of Law. During the course, Mr. Abbate and Mr. Henninger taught specific areas of trial practice and procedure to Hofstra Law School students who are considering careers in trial practice and courtroom advocacy.
